Role summaryThe Commercial Cards Sales Lead will build and expand a portfolio of corporate card clients across Saudi Arabia for an initial 12-month contract. The position owns the commercial journey from prospect identification and solution design through onboarding, activation and continued usage. Working alongside relationship, credit, risk, operations and product teams, the role will translate client needs into practical card and expense-management solutions while maintaining strong governance and a high-quality customer experience.Key AccountabilitiesGenerate new business through structured prospecting, referrals, targeted segment activity and disciplined pipeline management.Own relationships with corporate-card clients from initial engagement to implementation, activation and ongoing portfolio expansion.Understand each client's cash-flow, working-capital and expense-management priorities, then recommend a suitable commercial-card proposition.Develop opportunities within existing relationships by increasing cardholder penetration, active accounts, spend and use of relevant services.Maintain a reliable view of each opportunity, including next steps, approval status, expected value and conversion timing.Present card features, pricing, controls, limits, repayment choices, rewards and digital capabilities in clear commercial terms.Guide clients through application, documentation, credit review, onboarding and cardholder activation, coordinating stakeholders to remove delays.Prepare concise proposals and business cases that demonstrate operational benefits and commercial value.Partner with internal product and service teams to resolve issues, improve turnaround times and deliver a consistent client experience.Follow applicable policies, regulatory requirements and customer due-diligence standards throughout the sales and onboarding process.Keep CRM records, forecasts and sales activity reporting accurate and current.Monitor market developments, competitor propositions and evolving corporate-client needs to sharpen targeting and sales messaging.Use portfolio data to identify activation, retention, reactivation, spend-growth and additional-card opportunities.Provide structured market and client feedback to product and leadership teams to support proposition improvements.Experience and qualificationsBachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related discipline.Extensive experience in corporate banking, business payments, commercial cards, financial services or fintech.Demonstrated success selling corporate or business credit-card solutions and growing client portfolios.Sound knowledge of credit fundamentals, corporate onboarding, customer due diligence and the commercial-card lifecycle.Experience within a bank, fintech, payments provider, card issuer or acquiring organization is advantageous.Fluent professional communication in Arabic and English.Strong consultative selling, negotiation and closing capability.Confident relationship management across business owners, finance teams and internal stakeholders.Commercial judgment and the ability to turn client needs into actionable opportunities.Clear presentation skills, including the ability to explain solutions and simple business cases.Self-directed, resilient and comfortable operating against ambitious targets.
