Description
A Co-Manufacturing and Contracting Manager for an Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) production facility oversees third-party contract manufacturing agreements, external processing partnerships, and tolling services for flash-frozen fruits, vegetables, or proteins.Core ResponsibilitiesPartner Management: Identify, evaluate, and contract third-party co-manufacturers and processing partners to optimize plant capacity and expand product lines.Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).Operations Alignment: Sync internal production schedules with external co-packers to fulfill seasonal harvest volumes and market demand forecasts.Quality & Compliance: Ensure that external and internal IQF operations comply with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO guidelines.Yield & Cost Control: Monitor production efficiency, waste reduction, and material utilization across manufacturing runs.
