Required experience: Approximately 5-7 years of hands-on systems engineering, platform deployment or infrastructure-integration experience. Practical, production-level Kubernetes experience, including deploying, configuring and troubleshooting containerised applications. Strong Linux systems knowledge and the ability to resolve complex server-level issues. Experience installing and commissioning technology platforms within live customer environments. Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning and formal technical handover. Understanding of servers, networking, storage, containerised environments, system integrations and data flows. Experience integrating security, monitoring or industrial platforms with SIEM solutions; Splunk experience would be valuable. Knowledge of OT network architecture, segmentation, DMZs, the Purdue Model and IT/OT convergence. Exposure to industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC-UA or Profinet. Ability to produce clear and accurate technical, deployment and handover documentation. Strong customer-facing communication skills. Deploy, configure and troubleshoot containerised applications using Kubernetes. Own deployments from initial installation through integration, FAT, SAT, commissioning and client handover. Diagnose and resolve Linux, Kubernetes, server, network and platform-related issues onsite. Integrate platforms with OT data sources, network infrastructure, SIEM platforms, data historians and existing security tools. Configure passive OT asset-discovery and network-monitoring solutions. Validate data accuracy, completeness and integrity before progressing through deployment stages. Work directly with customer OT engineers, infrastructure teams and security stakeholders. Translate customer requirements into practical deployment plans. Produce clear technical documentation, including deployment documents, test plans, commissioning records, runbooks and as-built documentation. Support presales teams by translating technical requirements into accurate proposals and implementation documentation. Identify technical risks, integration blockers and scope changes. Manage multiple customer deployments while maintaining consistent technical standards.
