Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.5+ years of experience in planning/project controls within construction or contracting companies.Strong experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.Solid knowledge of planning, cost control, forecasting, cash flow, and progress measurement.Experience on large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.Good understanding of contracts, delays, variations, and claims.Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.Ability to coordinate across multiple project departments and challenge inaccurate progress information when necessary.Industry: Construction / ContractingPosition Level: Senior

We’re Hiring – Senior Project Controls EngineerSherif El Gohary & Co. is looking for a Senior Project Controls Engineer to support the planning, monitoring, cost control, and performance management of our construction projects.Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and update project baseline schedules using Primavera P6.Monitor actual progress against planned progress and identify delays, slippage, and critical activities.Prepare recovery and acceleration plans when required.Develop and maintain project cash flow, manpower, procurement, and resource schedules.Monitor project costs, commitments, actual expenditure, and forecast cost at completion.Prepare cost-to-complete and Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasts.Track project productivity and key performance indicators.Prepare weekly and monthly project controls reports for management.Coordinate with Site, Technical Office, Procurement, Commercial, and Finance teams.Monitor engineering, material procurement, subcontractor, and construction activities against the master schedule.Support delay analysis, extension-of-time claims, and impact assessments.Identify project risks and provide early warnings to the Project Manager and management.Maintain accurate progress measurement and reporting systems.
