Requirements

Key Responsibilities1. Planning & SchedulingDevelop and maintain detailed project baseline schedules using Primavera P6.Prepare project execution schedules covering design, procurement, construction, testing, and handover activities.Monitor actual progress against approved baselines and identify delays, slippages, and critical activities.Prepare weekly and monthly progress updates and schedule reports.Analyze the Critical Path and identify potential risks to project completion.Review contractors' and consultants' schedules and progress updates.Prepare recovery and mitigation plans for delayed activities.Conduct schedule impact analysis and support delay analysis when required.Coordinate with project/site teams to validate actual progress and forecast completion dates.2. Cost ControlEstablish and maintain project cost control systems and budgets.Monitor actual costs, committed costs, forecast costs, and remaining budgets.Prepare and update project Cost Reports and Cost-to-Complete / Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) forecasts.Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.Analyze cost variances and identify potential cost overruns.Track commitments, purchase orders, contracts, variations, and subcontractor costs.Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Commercial teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.Support the preparation and review of project cash flow forecasts.Provide early warnings regarding potential budget and cost risks.3. Project Reporting & ControlsPrepare comprehensive weekly and monthly Project Controls Reports covering cost, schedule, progress, risks, and key performance indicators.Develop dashboards and management reports for senior management.Integrate schedule and cost information to provide a clear view of overall project performance.Maintain accurate project controls databases and reporting systems.Support management in decision-making through accurate project performance analysis.Identify trends, risks, and deviations and recommend corrective actions.4. CoordinationWork closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Consultants, Contractors, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial departments.Attend project progress and coordination meetings and provide project controls updates.Coordinate with site teams to collect and validate progress data.Review contractor invoices/progress claims from a planning and cost-control perspective.Ensure consistency between approved budgets, project schedules, contracts, commitments, and actual progress.
