Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in automotive spare parts, automotive aftermarket, dealership, or workshop operations.
Good knowledge of vehicle spare parts and automotive components.
Ability to identify parts using part numbers, catalogs, VIN/chassis numbers, and vehicle specifications.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Basic knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to avoid incorrect part identification.
Good negotiation and supplier-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet customer and workshop requirements.
Knowledge of different vehicle makes and models specially jaguar and range rover
Description
Identify and supply the correct spare parts based on vehicle model, chassis/VIN number, part number, and customer requirements.
Manage daily spare parts inquiries from customers, workshops, mechanics, and sales teams.
Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, availability, ordering, and delivery schedules.
Monitor stock levels and maintain adequate inventory of fast-moving and critical spare parts.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist with physical inventory counts.
Track incoming and outgoing parts and update inventory records accurately.
Research alternative or equivalent parts when the original part is unavailable.
Ensure parts are properly stored, labeled, and organized in the warehouse.
Follow up on back orders and ensure pending customer requirements are completed.
Handle warranty, return, exchange, and damaged-part claims in accordance with company policies.
Maintain accurate records of part numbers, prices, suppliers, stock movements, and customer transactions.
Coordinate with the service/workshop department to ensure required parts are available for vehicle repairs.
Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and customers.
Monitor market prices and availability to support competitive purchasing and sales.
Assist in identifying slow-moving, obsolete, and fast-moving inventory.
Ensure compliance with company procedures for purchasing, inventory control, and sales.
Prepare regular reports on stock, sales, purchases, shortages, and outstanding orders.
