Description
Purpose: Responsible for the technical program management of new and used engine assets.Key Result Areas:Oversight of the OEM and third party maintenance facilities regarding engine technical data and cost analysis.Emphasis on shop visit costs, shop invoices, airline work scope, regulatory requirements and maintenance reserves.Balance the defined work scope with cost containment to ensure the maximum value is achieved.Review and analyse OEM product support contracts (FHA / FMP / MCPH) considering contract details from all perspectives (operator, OEM and DAE).Proactively manage all assigned engine manufacture relationships.Facilitate discussions with airline maintenance departments, third party maintenance facilities and engine manufacturers.Update the DAE proprietary database, preparing and providing detailed reports and supporting documentation for engine management.Proactive support of aircraft transition process.Assist the Powerplant and Maintenance Reserves Director in reserve claims administration process.Other reasonable duties as requested by the company from time to time.Skills & Experience:Degree in Engineering or Licensed Aircraft Engineer3+ years experience in an airline / OEM / MRO engine management role desirable3+ years experience in all aspects of GE/CFMI/RR/PW Engines desirableSufficient knowledge of aircraft lease agreements is required to effectively analyse maintenance reserves and communicate / negotiate with customersExcellent written, verbal and analytical skillsEffective fault diagnosisAbility to analyze engine condition, determine fair market price and prepare detailed reports.Effective engine condition monitoring managementStrong organizational and project management skillsStrong prioritization, time management and project management skillsStrong MS Office skills
