Requires 12 college credit hours including English Composition with a C or higher and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater. Healthcare or service industry experience is preferred. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.Other Information:12 college level credit hours that include a passing grade in English Composition with a C or higher and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater.
