Requirements
Candidates must have 12 college-level credit hours with a passing grade in English Composition (C or higher) and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater. Healthcare or service industry experience is preferred but not required. The role requires good organization, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to learn and apply new healthcare-related skills.

The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.Other Information12 college level credit hours that include a passing grade in English Composition with a C or higher and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater.
