About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Specialist to lead our raw materials import logistics. You will oversee shipments from origin ports to local warehouses across Egyptian ports (Damietta, Alexandria, El-Dekheila, Sokhna), drive ocean freight negotiations, optimize total landed costs, and manage ERP workflow via Odoo.Key Responsibilities:Freight & Carrier Management: Negotiate ocean freight rates with shipping lines and freight forwarders; secure framework agreements and seasonal freight contracts.Route & Port Optimization: Evaluate and select optimal Egyptian discharge ports based on Total Landed Cost (ocean freight + inland trucking + port dwell time/demurrage risk).Execution & Compliance: Handle end-to-end booking (CIF & FOB), verify ACID readiness on the Nafeza platform before vessel sailing, and coordinate shipping documentation for customs clearance.Tracking & Disruption Management: Track shipments (ETD/ATD/ETA), provide early arrival notifications to warehouse teams, and implement immediate contingency plans for blank sailings or port congestion.Inland Logistics & Insurance: Manage domestic trucking contractors and marine insurance coverage.Data Governance: Maintain accurate shipment data, container records, and workflow milestones on Odoo ERP.Job Requirements:Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in import logistics and ocean freight (preferably raw materials / manufacturing).Incoterms: Strong operational mastery of CIF & FOB shipping cycles.Egyptian Customs & Ports: Solid knowledge of Egyptian port operations (Alexandria, Damietta, Sokhna) and the Nafeza (ACID) system.ERP Proficiency: Proven experience working with Odoo (Logistics/Purchasing modules) is strongly preferred.Core Skills: Strong negotiation, rate benchmarking, vendor management, and contingency planning capabilities.
