Must have strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, system monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and backups, as well as a good understanding of IT security principles and access management. As an IT System Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure and systems.This role combines technical troubleshooting with proactive infrastructure management. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring systems, networks, and IT services, resolving technical issues, and ensuring a secure and reliable technology environment that supports Octane's growing business.What You'll Be DoingManage, maintain, and monitor servers, systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT hardware.Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and security policies.Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise IT systems.Perform regular system updates, patches, backups, and maintenance activities.Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect company systems and data.Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, VPNs, firewalls, and related infrastructure.Support IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and new technology implementations.Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.Provide technical support to employees and ensure timely resolution of IT incidents.Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.Key Areas of OwnershipIT Infrastructure & Systems ManagementServer & Network AdministrationSystem Monitoring & PerformanceIT Security & Access ManagementTechnical Troubleshooting & Incident ResolutionBackup, Maintenance & Business ContinuityIT Asset & Vendor ManagementInfrastructure Improvement & OptimizationWhat We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure, or system engineering.
