Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Computer Science/IT. (CIPS certification or MBA is a strong plus). Experience: 5–8 years of experience in Procurement, with at least 3 years in a managerial role specifically handling IT, Software, Cloud Infrastructure, or FinTech procurement. Skills & Abilities: Deep understanding of technology vendor ecosystems, SaaS licensing models, and cloud infrastructure cost structures. Advanced contract negotiation and legal drafting skills for multi-year technology frameworks. Strong ability to collaborate with technical teams (R&D, Engineering, Product) to translate technical needs into commercial agreements. Proven leadership capability to drive automated procurement workflows and mentor a team. Excellent financial acumen, analytical thinking, and data-driven decision-making.
Description
Strategic Sourcing & Market Analysis: Design and execute agile procurement strategies aligned with business roadmaps and financial objectives. Conduct market analysis to identify cutting-edge tech vendors and FinTech partners offering competitive advantages in speed, security, and cost. Contract & Vendor Management: Develop, manage, and monitor complex, multi-year contracts, ensuring strict Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and risk mitigation. Establish and maintain strategic, high-value relationships with key suppliers. High-Value Negotiation: Lead negotiations with major tech vendors to secure favorable commercial terms, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery schedules. Value Engineering & Cost Optimization: Partner with internal Engineering (R&D) and Product teams to define requirements for third-party API integrations, software licenses, and platform tools. Drive value engineering to optimize software usage tiers, cloud/infrastructure architecture, and reduce costs without sacrificing quality. Team Leadership & Automation: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a high-performing procurement team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and drive the adoption of automated procurement workflows. Daily Operations & Compliance: Organize and oversee daily procurement section workflows to ensure all deadlines are met. Ensure that all purchased assets meet industry standards and strictly comply with regulatory, safety, and sustainability requirements.
