Role Overview
Position: Consultant/specialist nephrologist
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases (CKD, AKI, glomerular disorders)
Oversee and manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programs
Provide care for patients undergoing renal transplantation (pre- and post-transplant management)
Manage electrolyte imbalances, hypertension, and fluid disorders
Conduct and interpret renal function tests, kidney biopsies, and imaging
Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations
Collaborate with ICU teams for critical care nephrology cases
Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance, and infection control programs
Educate patients and families on long-term kidney disease management
Supervise junior doctors and contribute to academic and training programs
