Effective coordination between stakeholders, finance, IT, and business co-runners. This role involves implementing contracts and agreements, managing employee well-being, meeting operational requirements, and enhancing IT systems based on business needs and market intelligence. Key accountabilities HSSE Ensure following of ADNOC HSE rules and regulations regarding fire, safety, and environment, as well as municipality rules and regulations. Make sure all staff are aware of these rules and regulations and follow them strictly. Ensure all facilities are clean and tidy. Manage coordination with the cleaning service provider to address any issues. Report and record any incidents on time and take appropriate actions. Ensure the department adheres to the dress code as specified by management. Sales management Ensure the achievement of budgeted area sales, gross margin, and operational cost targets and manage inventory shrinkage, cash reporting targets, and balancing of daily banking transactions to achieve efficient financial management. Ensure that price changes are implemented to achieve operational efficiencies. Implement and train the team on various sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the B2B sector to expand our client base and market presence in coordination with the business development team. Lead efforts to introduce new products to the market, including training the team on new product features and benefits, and developing strategies to promote these products effectively. Operations management Plan and manage the overall performance of all retail lube activities within the assigned region to oversee their operations, implement improvements, and report performance to manager in order to support the achievement of profitability and quality standards. Manage effective resource planning of all stations and facilities ensuring timely availability of all material and adequately trained staff to manage peak hours and assure the delivery of optimum client experience across all locations within the assigned area at all times. Collaborate with HR to plan and execute recruitment strategies to increase manpower based on sales trends and customer footfall. Ensure the team is adequately staffed to meet business demands. Manage the procurement of lube-related accessories and supplies. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms. Implement and monitor contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Ensure that all stock lines are maintained in accordance with approved plans and set guidelines and promotional programs implemented in a timely and orderly fashion. Ensure stock wastage and shrinkage is maintained to the absolute minimal level to achieve optimum utilization of resources and operational efficiencies. Assess existing and future manpower and facility requirements in accordance with upcoming projects carried out near the lube change facilities that would boost or hinder demand and proactively alert management for corrective action. Advise on the necessary actions to be taken and recommend improvements to existing facilities and equipment where necessary to continually maintain world-class quality standards, in line with the ADNOC brand image. Plan and undertake regular inspection visits to each facility including inspection of building, equipment, safety and fire prevention practices, provision of customer service, checking availability of products and relevant items, and submitting inspection reports to management for further reference and action. Analyze various reports and records, such as daily statement of stocks and sales, record books and reconciliations as well as maintain the stock taking process to avoid shortage and/or excess across the assigned area to review performance and take corrective action to support alignment with defined operational excellence standards. Conduct random audits of stock control statements and cash against records, investigating reasons behind differences in amounts, preparing justifications and reporting to management. Ensure effective implementation of all inventory management policies and procedures to support achievement of operational efficiencies and cost optimizations. Organize events to make a positive impact on employees. Foster a positive work environment and promote employee well-being. Address employee concerns and provide support as needed. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs). Coordinate with IT teams to ensure smooth operation of IT systems. Enhance IT systems based on business requirements and market intelligence. Conduct market intelligence studies to identify trends and opportunities. Monitor the collection of used oil in compliance with environmental regulations. Promotions and advertising Implement the promotional activities in conjunction with the marketing plan for organizing sales and service promotion activities across all the facilities. Work environment This role requires working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Frequent travel to various service station locations as and when required. Service level agreements Manage the execution of service level targets and direct the coordination with all functions to meet customer service expectations. Customer experience Promote an appropriate sales and service culture across the defined area of responsibility which exceeds customer expectations in a cost-effective manner. Ensure provision of training for all staff on services to assure achievement of optimum client experience. Relationship management Maintain key business relationships with all relevant external and internal entities and all sections with the highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in order to ensure the services required by the organisation are delivered in the most effective manner. Qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills Minimum qualification Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent. UAE driving license. Minimum experience & knowledge & skills 10 years of sales and marketing experience in retail industry with at least 5 years of managing teams in fuel, energy, oil and gas sector. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Demonstrated knowledge of the oil and gas market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
