Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering.20–25 years of progressive experience in Engineering, Projects, and Industrial Manufacturing.Proven experience in Greenfield factory construction and/or major manufacturing facility expansion projects.Strong experience in Industrial Projects, MEP, Mechanical & Electrical Systems, Utilities, and Infrastructure.Previous experience managing large-scale CAPEX projects from design through commissioning and start-up.Strong experience in managing engineering consultants, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.Previous experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment is mandatory.Strong leadership, project management, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following industries will be highly valued:Glass | Cement | Steel | Chemicals | Pharmaceuticals | Food & Beverage | Building Materials | FMCG | Other Heavy/Process Manufacturing Industries
Description
Lead the planning and execution of a new Greenfield manufacturing facility, from concept and design through construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up.Manage engineering and capital projects across existing manufacturing plants, including expansions, upgrades, renovations, and production line projects.Lead and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, MEP, Utilities, and infrastructure activities.Manage engineering consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project partners throughout the project lifecycle.Review technical designs, specifications, BOQs, project schedules, and contractors’ proposals.Lead project budgeting, CAPEX planning, cost control, procurement, and project execution.Ensure proper coordination between Engineering, Production, Maintenance, EHS, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders.Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and successful handover of new facilities, utilities, and production systems.Monitor project progress, quality, cost, timelines, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.Identify engineering risks and provide practical technical solutions to ensure successful project delivery.Develop, lead, and coach the engineering and project management team.Establish effective project management processes and ensure timely reporting to senior management.
