Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, preferably Production, Mechanical Design, or Mechatronics.1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design or manufacturing.Good practical knowledge of SolidWorks.Experience or good understanding of:Sheet MetalWeldmentsMechanical AssembliesManufacturing DrawingsBOMsBasic understanding of tolerances, fits, and GD&T.Understanding of fabrication processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, and assembly.Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.Good problem-solving and attention to detail.Willingness to visit workshops and follow prototypes through manufacturing.Good technical English.Previous industrial machinery or equipment-design experience is preferred.Portfolio or examples of previous mechanical-design work are highly preferred.
Description
We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on industrial equipment and machinery.The engineer will work under the supervision of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and participate in developing, documenting, and improving industrial equipment designs.Responsibilities include:Create and modify 3D mechanical models using SolidWorks.Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.Design sheet-metal parts, welded structures, frames, ducts, hoppers, and mechanical assemblies.Prepare BOMs and maintain drawing revisions.Convert concepts and existing designs into clear manufacturing documentation.Support design standardization and development of reusable components and libraries.Coordinate with workshops and suppliers regarding fabrication requirements.Participate in prototype assembly, inspection, and testing when required.Review manufactured parts and update drawings based on workshop feedback.Assist in developing new industrial equipment and improving existing products.This position is focused on industrial machinery and fabricated equipment design, not MEP design.
