Job purpose
Lead effective performance-based audits and assessments in the assigned area of responsibility in support of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) Quality Assurance Program to ensure that the station is constructed and operated with the highest standards of safety and quality in the nuclear industry.
Key activities, responsibility & accountability
Activity: Quality assurance audits and assessments
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Lead performance-based Quality Assurance audits and assessments of various ENEC and Nawah programs or suppliers, contractors and long term agreements in order to identify shortcomings and cases of noncompliance.
Ensure the collection of required documentation, development of checklists, audit plan and agendas for internal quality audit of programs and suppliers, contractors and long term agreements to ensure that the audits and assessments are conducted effectively.
Review and confirm required records for the Quality Assurance audits and assessments to ensure documentation meets applicable procedures and standards.
Review and confirm the final audit reports and present audit reports to the relevant stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support decision making.
Lead and oversee the analysis of findings, issues, nonconformance identified during audits and assessments and follow up for timely corrective and preventative actions to ensure that Quality Assurance Program implemented by ENEC, Nawah and suppliers and contractors meet regulatory requirements and applicable codes and standards.
Conduct pre and post meetings with relevant stakeholders and/or QA team to ensure the effective implementation of corrective actions.

Review the QA audit documentations and implementing procedures and provide feedback as appropriate to ensure compliance with industry codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
Contractor / supplier QA manual
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Review contractor and supplier QA manuals (as appropriate), provide comments, and coordinate the review collation of comments to assess supplier and contractor qualifications as well as their compliance with ENEC's and Nawah's Quality Assurance Program.
Quality assurance subject matter expertise
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding and provide guidance of required regulations, industry codes and standards in respect to Quality Assurance requirements of various functions within BNPP and act as a Subject Matter Expert assisting various functions within ENEC and Nawah in the implementation of Quality Assurance Program.
The incumbent is expected to perform standard activities as per attachments 4 & 5 in the Job Description procedure (relating to Health, Safety and Environment, Security and Business Continuity, People Management, Excellence and Quality Management).
Professional certifications
Minimum
Eligibility to be qualified as a Lead Auditor as per QA-PRC-0004, Qualification of Audit Personnel.
Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Manager certification by American Society for Quality.
Licensed Senior Reactor Operator.
Registered Professional Engineer.
Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA)-1 Lead Auditor Qualification.
Qualifications
Minimum
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, out of which 4 years of experience in activities related to quality with satisfactory performance.
Master's degree in Engineering or Science, Electrical I&C Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment out of which 2 years as nuclear QA Auditor.
Experience in quality management system design, development and implementation. Experienced in leading nuclear audits as Audit Team Leader or Lead Auditor.
