Requirements
Requires a college degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of experience in communication and network. Must possess strong business orientation, good oral and written communication skills, leadership abilities, project management, financial planning, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with networking protocols, standards, and practices is essential.
Description
  • Plan and execute a network strategy that is in conformity with the short and long term business strategy.

  • 2nd   level  of  communication  to  resolve  users  issues  and  escalates  to  Dubai Technology Team.

  • Ensure that requirements and priorities are properly defined and are in line with business needs.

  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies.

  • Identify opportunities to exploit them for business advantage.

  • Prepare feasibility studies, time and cost estimates and implementation plans. Identify right partnerships and do contract negotiations.

  • Identify consultancy needs and facilitate knowledge transfer consultants to technology staff.

  • Develop, administer and control annual budgets and resource plans. Monitor projects to design, test and implement systems I applications.

  • Assign, direct and check the work of systems engineers and system support staff to ensure that business solutions are achieved.

  • Provide technical direction to the staff to ensure that standards and procedures are followed.

  • Evaluate performance of subordinates' team members, make compensation and bonus decisions, hire and fire employees.

  • Coordinate technical activities with internal support groups to facilitate resolution of user problems.
