Requirements

The role requires strong expertise in quality assurance, compliance with UAE regulations and international standards, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key duties and responsibilities of the QA/QC Engineer include, but are not limited to:Develop, review, and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)Conduct daily inspections of earthworks, asphalt paving, concrete structures, excavations, and utility installationsReview and approve Method Statements, Material Submittals, and laboratory test reportsIdentify quality issues, issue NCRs, and monitor corrective and preventive actionsCoordinate and oversee testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other construction materialsConduct internal quality audits and support ISO 9001 compliance requirementsLiaise with consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities during inspectionsEnsure all construction activities comply with contract specifications, international standards, and UAE authority requirementsPrepare quality reports and maintain accurate project documentationSupport continuous improvement initiatives across project quality processesRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering3+ years of QA/QC experience in heavy civil and infrastructure projectsProven UAE experience with roads, bridges, and infrastructure worksStrong knowledge of UAE authority requirements and international standards (AASHTO, ASTM, ACI, BS EN)ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification is an advantageExcellent analytical, reporting, and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with project management/document control systems
