Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily yard operations to support customer and business requirements.
- Monitor and maintain accurate customer inventory records.
- Oversee the movement of customer materials through the inspection process.
- Ensure timely communication between customers, inspectors, and operations personnel.
- Promote safe work practices and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support operational efficiency, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Job Duties
- Track incoming, in-process, and outgoing customer inventory.
- Coordinate material staging, movement, and workflow throughout inspection activities.
- Verify inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies when identified.
- Maintain inventory reports, inspection status updates, and related documentation.
- Communicate material status, inventory levels, and operational updates to customers and management.
- Assist with scheduling and prioritizing customer materials to meet delivery requirements.
- Support loading, unloading, and handling of materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, yard operations, or material management preferred.
- Experience coordinating material flow in a manufacturing, inspection, or industrial environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
