We're Hiring: Consultant – NephrologyMakkah Medical Center is seeking a Consultant in Nephrology to join a distinguished team providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for kidney disease and dialysis care.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseaseOversee the dialysis unit (hemodialysis and peritoneal) and manage treatment plansFollow up pre- and post-kidney transplant patients in coordination with the relevant teamsParticipate in medical committees, quality improvement programs, and CME activitiesRequirements:MBBS / MD from a recognized medical schoolValid Consultant (Internal Medicine – Nephrology) classification and registration from SCFHSBoard certification in Internal Medicine plus an accredited Nephrology FellowshipHands-on experience with hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and CRRTCompetence in vascular access assessment and temporary dialysis catheter insertionExperience with kidney biopsy and interpretation of biopsy results (an advantage)Experience managing pre- and post-transplant patients and immunosuppression protocolsValid BLS and ACLS certificationUp-to-date knowledge of current treatment protocols and international guidelines (KDIGO)Ability to lead and develop a dialysis unit, including quality indicators and infection controlCompetent use of EMR systems and accurate clinical documentationFluency in English; Arabic is an advantageEligibility to work in Saudi Arabia (transferable iqama for non-Saudi applicants)
