Requirements
Education: Medical Degree (MD / MBBS or equivalent) with formal, accredited residency and subspecialty Fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.Certifications: Active board certification or highest tier specialist qualification (e.g., UK CCT/CCST, American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, FRCPC, European Board, or equivalent).Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience practicing independently as a registered Endocrinology Consultant in an established tertiary care hospital or center.Licensing: Eligible for or currently holding a valid Consultant medical license ie.g., DHA, SCFHS, MOH, GMC].Key Skills: Exceptional clinical diagnostic acumen, strong communication skills, an empathetic bedside manner, and experience utilizing modern diabetes technologies.

We are expanding our comprehensive Diabetes and Endocrinology Department and are seeking a highly skilled, patient-focused Consultant Endocrinologist to join our elite medical team. Our facility features state-of-the-art diagnostic, imaging, and laboratory support to deliver cutting-edge care to patients with complex metabolic and endocrine disorders.🎯 Role PurposeAs a Consultant Endocrinologist, you will hold ultimate clinical responsibility for diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide spectrum of endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders. You will direct both inpatient and outpatient care, lead specialized multi-disciplinary metabolic teams, and mentor junior medical staff.📋 Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Consultations: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for outpatients and inpatients presenting with diabetes mellitus (Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational), thyroid diseases, adrenal and pituitary disorders, bone and calcium metabolic diseases, and reproductive endocrine conditions.Advanced Diabetes Management: Design and optimize advanced diabetes treatment plans, utilizing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems, insulin pump therapies, and integrated digital health platforms.Diagnostic Interpretation: Evaluate and interpret endocrine dynamic function tests, specialized lab assays, thyroid ultrasounds, and fine-needle aspiration (FNA) biopsies.Multidisciplinary Leadership: Collaborate closely with bariatric surgeons, obstetricians (for high-risk pregnancies), ophthalmologists, podiatrists, and dedicated diabetes educators/dietitians.Academic & Quality Oversight: Participate in clinical audits, continuous quality improvement initiatives, and the training or mentoring of residents, fellows, and nursing staff.
