Required Skills

The role requires managing warehouse staff, overseeing productivity, tracking receipt/storage/delivery of goods, maintaining records and documentation, ensuring health and safety compliance, interacting with staff and customers, managing inventory (cycle counts and physical stock), coordinating daily warehouse activities, preparing storage and handling invoices, safety management, coordinating customer quality audits, learning process improvements, and implementing WMS in warehouses. Qualifications include graduate or MBA with effective communication and strong Excel and Outlook knowledge. Prior experience in a similar management position is required; cold storage experience is an added advantage.

Position – Manager Operations

Job Description:

• Supervising multiple warehouse staff and daily activities
• Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity
• Tracking the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company & customers
• Inventory Management (Cycle Count & Physical Stock Verification)
• Daily Warehouse Team Interaction
• Annexure Preparation for Storage and Handling Invoices
• Safety Management
• Customers Quality Audit co-ordination
• Learning new process improvements
• Implementing WMS in the warehouses

 

Qualification:

• Graduate or MBA
• Ability to communicate effectively on mail and calls
• Good knowledge of Excel & Outlook

 

Experience:

• Previous experience for a similar management position
• Cold Storage Experience will be an added advantage
