Requirements
Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in Compliance. Professional certification such as CCEP, CRMA, or equivalent is preferred. Solid knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to the company's industry. Fluency in both Arabic and English. Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, strict commitment to confidentiality, effective communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Description
Job Purpose:The Compliance Specialist supports the design and implementation of the organization's Compliance framework by monitoring departments adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, and contributing to the management of Compliance-related risks (Risk Management). The role aims to protect the company from legal, regulatory, and operational risk while embedding a strong Governance culture across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Monitor departments compliance with government regulations, laws, and internal policies, and prepare periodic Compliance Reports.Contribute to developing and updating Compliance policies and procedures in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.Conduct periodic Compliance Audits to assess adherence levels across departments and document findings and violations.Support the identification and assessment of compliance-related risks (Risk Assessment) and propose appropriate Remediation Plans.Support the delivery of internal Awareness & Training programs related to Compliance and Governance for employees.Track regulatory and legislative developments relevant to the company's business and assess their impact on internal policies and procedures.Coordinate with relevant departments (Legal, Internal Audit, Risk Management) to ensure integrated Governance, Risk, and Compliance efforts.Participate in investigations of policy or regulatory violations, document findings, and submit recommendations to management.Prepare and maintain Compliance KPIs / Dashboards and report them to senior management on a periodic basis.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in Compliance.Professional certification such as CCEP, CRMA, or equivalent is preferred.Solid knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to the company's industry.Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and prepare reports.High attention to detail and strict commitment to confidentiality.Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with GRC software is a plus.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
