Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Nephrologist to diagnose and manage patients with kidney and renal disorders. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing both acute and chronic renal conditions and a patient-centered approach.Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments of patients with renal disorders. Diagnose and manage acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular diseases, electrolyte disorders, and hypertension-related renal conditions. Manage patients with advanced and end-stage kidney disease. Provide pre- and post-dialysis evaluation and ongoing renal care. Assess patients for appropriate renal replacement therapy and coordinate dialysis care. Interpret renal function tests, urinalysis, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations. Manage complications associated with chronic kidney disease, including anemia, mineral-bone disorders, and fluid/electrolyte abnormalities. Coordinate care for patients requiring hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or renal transplantation where applicable. Collaborate with urologists, transplant teams, intensivists, cardiologists, and other specialists. Provide patient and family counseling regarding kidney disease, treatment options, diet, and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
