Requirements

Skilled Careers is working with an internationally recognised architecture and interior design consultancy for a Senior FF&E Designer in Dubai, UAE, working across a portfolio of exceptional luxury hospitality and high-end residential developments.The Role:As a Senior FF&E Designer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering FF&E packages from initial concept through to technical design, procurement and on-site implementation.You will work closely with interior designers, architects, consultants, suppliers and project teams to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the delivery process, with a strong focus on quality, detail and luxury.Key Responsibilities:Lead FF&E design across luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects.Develop FF&E concepts, schemes, specifications and detailed design packages.Take projects through the full design process, from concept and design development through to technical stages and site delivery.Prepare and review FF&E schedules, specifications, presentations and technical documentation.Coordinate closely with interior design, architecture, procurement and project delivery teams.Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to develop bespoke FF&E solutions.Review samples, shop drawings and technical submissions.Support the procurement and installation process, ensuring quality and design intent are maintained.Attend site where required to oversee FF&E installation and resolve design-related issues.Mentor and support junior designers within the team.To be considered, candidates must have:Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or similar qualification10+ years of professional FF&E design experience.A proven track record across luxury hospitality and/or high-end residential developments.Experience working across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design development through to technical design and site delivery.Strong knowledge of FF&E materials, finishes, suppliers, manufacturing and installation.Excellent understanding of luxury detailing and design standards.Strong technical and documentation skills.The ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.Excellent communication and presentation skills.A strong portfolio demonstrating high-end FF&E projects.Dubai experience is advantageous, but international experience (Europe, US, Canada, Aus etc) and a strong luxury project portfolio are essential.If you are an experienced FF&E Designer looking to join an international practice and work on some of Dubai and the wider region's most exciting luxury developments, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
