We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist / Consultant Spine Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of spinal disorders, perform spinal surgical procedures, and provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care while working closely with a multidisciplinary medical team.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with spinal disorders and conditions.Perform spinal surgeries and procedures according to qualifications and clinical expertise.Manage degenerative spine conditions, spinal trauma, disc disorders, spinal deformities, and other complex spinal conditions.Perform minimally invasive spine procedures and surgical interventions where qualified.Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery and rehabilitation.Manage emergency spinal trauma and acute neurological conditions.Interpret MRI, CT scans, X-rays, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, physiotherapists, pain specialists, anesthesiologists, and rehabilitation teams.Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, surgical options, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.Maintain accurate patient records, operative notes, and clinical documentation.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).Supervise and mentor junior surgeons and medical staff where required.Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare authority regulations, hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.Participate in on-call duties and emergency coverage as required.Qualifications & RequirementsMBBS / equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.MS / DNB / MCh / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery with specialized training in Spine Surgery.Valid or eligible medical license from the relevant GCC healthcare authority.Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience for Specialist-level positions.Consultant candidates should have appropriate Consultant-level qualifications and experience.Proven experience in spinal surgery and management of complex spinal conditions.Strong expertise in both operative and non-operative spine management.Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skills, communication, and decision-making abilities.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
