3-5 years of experience in Human Resources.Previous experience in a Generalist or Senior HR role.Shipping, maritime, logistics, or freight forwarding industry experience is highly preferred.Strong experience in recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and HR operations.Experience building or improving HR processes and systems.Excellent knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Must be based in Alexandria.

About the RoleNext Maritime is looking for an experienced and highly capable Senior HR Generalist to build and strengthen our HR function. This is a strategic role for someone who is passionate about creating HR processes from the ground up while managing the full employee lifecycle.The ideal candidate is proactive, business-oriented, exceptionally organized, and confident handling everything from recruitment and payroll to employee relations and HR operations. Shipping or maritime industry experience is highly preferred.This position offers strong career growth with the potential to advance into an HR Lead or HR Business Partner role as the company continues to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.Oversee all personnel functions, including hiring documentation, employee files, contracts, social insurance, labor office compliance, attendance, leaves, resignations, and terminations.Manage payroll preparation and coordinate monthly payroll processing.Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.Build and establish the HR department and its processes.Handle employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.Ensure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law and company policies.Partner with management on organizational development and workforce planning.
