Requirements
The Recreation Supervisor will supervise and train recreation team members, ensure company policies and brand standards are followed, manage daily operations including workflow and shift assignments, investigate complaints and attend to injured guests, handle hospitality requests and VIP services, and enforce safety regulations. Responsibilities also include monitoring expenses, guest participation, managing inventory and maintenance of equipment, and collaborating with other hotel departments for special events.

As a Recreation Supervisor, you're not just supervising daily recreation operations – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.ResponsibilitiesHere's what you'll do during a typical dayEssential FunctionsSupervising and training recreation team member including attendants, lifeguards and fitness instructors to ensure they provide excellent service and adhere to safety standards.Ensure that company policies, procedures and brand standards are followed at all times. Train all new employees in the daily recreation operations, including safety and sanitation procedures. Control workflow, assignment of work and designated shifts for assigned team members. Ensure that all team members on assigned shifts follow established policies and procedures. Investigate complaints in the fitness center and attend to injured guests, finding a resolution for the issue. Proceed with service recovery by paying attention to injured guests and offering better services to guests. Report complaints and incidents to management Effectively handle all hospitality requests and VIP services. Perform all related serving duties as required or requested. Knowledgeable of the Recreation service standards and skills. Able to lead and communicate with colleagues during outlet operations. Ensure that all in-house VIP lists and amenities are registered, and relevant information is discussed. Report and follow-up on all maintenance defects which affect efficiency and delivery of service.
