Requirements
5+ years of pattern making experience in men's formal wear: suits, blazers, trousers, coats and vests (must)Must know both Gerber (AccuMark) and TUKAcadExperience exporting and importing DXF / AAMA (ASTM) pattern files between CAD systemsStrong experience in grading and marker makingGood knowledge of fabrics, interlinings and linings, and how each one behavesKnowledge of shrinkage tests and fabric behaviour after fusing and pressingAble to solve fit problems and explain the correction clearlyOrganised, accurate, and able to maintain a clean pattern libraryAble to work full time on site in Obour City, CairoPreferred:Experience moving a full pattern library from one CAD system to anotherExperience with automatic marker makingExperience with fit and block systems (Drop 4, Drop 6)

We are part of Hajjo Group, working in tailoring since 1960.We are looking for a Pattern & CAD Specialist to run our CAD room. A key part of this job is transferring our full old pattern library from our old Gerber system to TUKAcad.Responsibilities:Make patterns for suits, blazers, trousers, coats and vestsGrade patterns across all sizesWork on CAD: digitizing, editing, and keeping a clean and organised pattern libraryPrepare and optimize markers to reach the lowest fabric consumptionCalculate fabric consumption per style and per orderTest and apply fabric shrinkage before cuttingDo fit corrections after fittings and sample reviewsTransfer the full old pattern library from Gerber to TUKAcad, and check that every transferred pattern is correctPrepare patterns for shell fabric, lining and interliningOperate the plotter and digitizer tableWork daily with the sample room, cutting room and production manager
