Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of experience in drilling engineering or applications. Must have knowledge of well planning & engineering principles and software, with fluency in spoken and written English. Key skills include engineering calculations, collision avoidance planning, vibration modeling, optimization strategies, torque & drag, hydraulics, real-time drilling performance, BHA optimization, and simulation software.

JOB PURPOSE:Provide technical support and maintain ADNOC Drilling applications for well planning, BHA optimization and real-time drilling performance. Ensure safe and efficient operations through accurate engineering analysis and digital workflows. Provide technical support and maintain ADNOC Drilling applications for well planning, BHA optimization and real-time drilling performance. Ensure safe and efficient operations through accurate engineering analysis and digital workflows. Additionally, manage collision avoidance planning and real-time collision monitoring. Prepare comprehensive end-of-well reports, capturing performance analysis, lessons learned and recommendations for continuous improvementKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards, operational guidelines and ADNOCPolicies and procedures. Prepare well plans, engineering calculations and integrated pre-well planning program. Implement collision avoidance planning using industry-standard anti-collision rules and ADNOCguidelines. Monitor real-time wellbore positioning and apply corrective actions to prevent well-to-well interferenceduring drilling. Perform torque & drag, hydraulics and vibration modelling for complex wells. Provide the needed technical assistance during drilling. Maintain engineering documentation in company server for easy access and knowledge sharing. Prepare post-well performance reviews, End of well report and lessons learned reports. Provide technical guidance on BHA design, hydraulics, torque & drag and vibration mitigation. Support operations with planning, engineering and optimization . Model drilling performance using simulation software. Recommend tools and technologies for improved efficiency. Analyze offset wells data and operational KPIs.
