Requires at least 3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer in a mass-market, fast-fashion, or high-street brand, with a degree in Fashion Design. Must have strong experience developing commercially successful denim collections for men and women, and advanced proficiency in AI tools, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and 3D design. Deep knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, garment construction, product development, and print/pattern design is essential, along with excellent illustration and presentation skills.

We are still founder-led and entrepreneurial: decisions here are made in days, not quarters.The roleThe Senior Designer Denim for Men, Women leads the creative development of denim collections from concept to final product. Combining strong creative sensibility with a deep understanding of commercial fashion, this role transforms market insights and trends into commercially successful collections that reflect the Gloria Jeans brand identity and respond to customer needs.You will work closely with Buying, Product Development, Pattern Making, Production teams and suppliers, balancing design vision with timelines, cost considerations and market performance. The role is fully based in Dubai, with relocation and visa support provided.What you will ownLead seasonal creative development for men's and women's denim collections, aligned with the brand vision and commercial objectives.Research global fashion trends, consumer behaviour, fabrics, colours, silhouettes, competitor activity and emerging market opportunities.Create seasonal concepts, mood boards, colour palettes, garment sketches, prints, graphics and surface patterns.Select fabrics, trims, washes, embellishments and finishing techniques in collaboration with suppliers and Product Development.Create detailed tech packs covering design specifications, construction and materials, and keep them complete and current in the PLM system.Source fabrics, trims and samples worldwide through trade shows, fabric fairs, supplier visits and shopping trips.Oversee fittings with Pattern Making and Technical teams to achieve the required fit, quality and construction.Review prototypes and samples, providing accurate comments and approvals throughout the development process.Partner with Buyers to build commercially balanced collections that meet sales, margin and pricing targets.Present design concepts to management clearly, confidently and with a strong commercial rationale.Deliver collections on time while maintaining high standards of design, quality and commercial performance.Mentor junior designers and foster creativity, innovation and continuous improvement across the team.What we are looking forAt least 3 years of design experience as a Fashion Designer in a mass-market, fast-fashion or high-street brand, with a degree in Fashion Design.Strong experience developing commercially successful denim collections for men and women.A track record you can show through best-sellers and collections you personally drove; a portfolio is recommended, but not required.Advanced proficiency in AI tools, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and CorelDRAW, plus 3D design skills.Deep knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, garment construction and product development, with strong print and pattern design skills.Excellent hand and digital illustration, visual communication and presentation skills.A product-focused and commercially grounded mindset, with curiosity about trends, competitors and why products sell.The ability to manage multiple collections and deadlines, adapt when priorities shift and collaborate across cross-functional teams.Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.AI at Gloria JeansEveryone at Gloria Jeans works with AI tools daily - from trend research to print development and 3D iteration - and we invest in the best tooling available.
