Requirements
Must possess a valid MMUP/UPDA First Category Engineer certification/registration and be a Qatar resident. Requires 12-15 years of relevant engineering experience, with substantial experience in Qatar/GCC. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering is necessary, along with strong communication, coordination, and technical skills. Previous experience on major projects in Qatar and knowledge of Qatar Engineering standards are highly preferred.

Our high level of professionalism and commitment drives continuous research to improve efficiency and sustainability, always in strict compliance with the law and aligned with the highest ethical standards.Specific functions:Knowledge / application of Procedures, Specifications and Project rules by all the members of each Project.Estimation of quantities in the Proposal phase.Assessment / Criticism of Geotechnical Studies and consequences derived from it.Calculation and design of Land preparation / earthmoving work.Calculation and design of Infrastructures / Urbanization / Rainwater collectors.Calculation and design of roads and pavements of the Unit.Calculation of shallow and piloted foundations (structures / equipment).Calculation of foundations for equipment subjected to dynamic actions.Calculation of foundations and structures (metal / concrete) trays / pipe supports.Calculation of foundations and structures (metal / concrete) Industrial buildings.Calculation of foundations and structure (metal / concrete) BLAST-PROOF buildings.Calculation of underground facilities (rafts, ditches, manholes, buried pipes, ditches, etc.)Approval of drawings from the Metallic Structure Workshop.Subcontract management (process units, buildings, platforms, etc.)Software management (STAADPRO, FOUNDATION 3D, MAT 3D, STORMCAD, etc.)Architecture design of buildings, facades, roofs, finished tables, plumbing, sanitation, etc. (SECTION only: ARCHITECTURE)Compliance with deadlines according to the Project Program.Control over the Engineering Hours budgets and those derived from the Work Units, calculated and designed in the Department, always taking as reference the values that served as the basis during the Proposal phase.Involvement in project plans that involve: cost reduction (Engineering / Construction), recovery of progress or expediting of Subcontractors.Coordinate activities to be subcontracted or subcontractedVerification of the absence of interference at the departmental level and between departments.Review and check drawings of the discipline's work carried out in the Project. Discuss Vendors drawings and from other departments.Inform the Discipline Leader of changes detected, about activities carried out or in progress.Monitoring the correct use and adaptation to work of different tools (NC, Plan4E, NVAT, Documentum, Lessons Learned, etc.)Application of the Quality Control procedures.Participate in the development of the Lessons Learned.Request adequate resources for the design of activities that have previously been subject to the relevant calculations.Performing periodic self-certification of those procedures that apply to its position.Requirements:Valid MMUP/UPDA First Category Engineer certification/registration.Minimum 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience, including substantial experience in Qatar/GCC;Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline;Strong relevant Engineering and Project experience;Previous experience working on major projects in Qatar is highly preferred;Good knowledge of Qatar Engineering standards, regulations, and Project requirements;Strong communication, coordination, and technical skills.
