The Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is looking to hire an electronic trader for metals in Singapore. The person will be an integral part of the Global Foreign Exchange business in Asia Pacific.

Your key responsibilities
As an electronic metals trader you will be responsible for:
Responsible managing e-spot risk in APAC timezone
Monitoring and managing positions, monitoring liquidity parameters and ensuring our e-spot offering aligns to market conditions
Participate in continuous improvement of pricing engines, hedging models and predictive analytics
Work with the technology developers to ensure our platform offering remains best-in-class
Partner with sales and structuring teams to market our e-offering and optimize volumes and revenue per client
Working within the linear voice desk team you will be given the opportunity to provide cross-coverage on linear voice products across a wide range of currencies and products, providing competitive pricing for clients in collaboration with traders in other locations
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum 5 years of prior work experience in electronic metals trading
Experience of managing the market risk of an electronic platform
Experience in e-book running with strong technical experience in quant research including high frequency pricing models, yield monetisation, alpha research
A thorough knowledge of pricing engines and hedging models used in electronic trading
In-depth knowledge of the precious metals spot and forward markets
Commercial focus, ability to take initiatives, and skills to solve complex business problems
Ability to articulate ideas confidently and concisely
Team player
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
