DescriptionJob Purpose: Responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care that transforms lives through excellent evidence-based practices to patients in a clinical setting. The role includes assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. The Registered Nurse works closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.Key Responsibilities And Duties Clinical Duties:Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of patient's health, including physical examinations, taking vital signs, and monitoring symptoms.Develops, implements, and updates individualized care plans based on patient assessments and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.Administers medications and treatments as physicians prescribe and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions.Provides care for wounds, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for signs of infection.Assists physicians and other healthcare professionals during medical procedures and diagnostic tests.Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.Observe and record patients conditions, including changes in symptoms or behaviors, and report any significant changes to the medical team.Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.Conducts purposeful rounding for patients to ensure their needs are met, prevent complications, and improve overall care quality.Adhere to strict infection control standards, including hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and proper handling of hazardous materials.Participate in infection control surveillance and reporting to help prevent facility-acquired infection.Maintain the cleanliness of the patient items and equipment as per Fakeeh Care policies.Follow established protocols for different emergencies (e.g., codes, and RRT), ensuring patient safety and effective response.Innovate in patient care and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes. Administrative Duties:Maintains accurate and detailed patient care records, including observations, interventions, and responses.Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient care is continuous and integrated. Supportive Duties:Provides emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and offering reassurance during stressful times.Advocates for patients needs and preferences, ensuring that their rights are respected, and their voices are heard.Participates in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical practices and advancements.Respect diverse cultural backgrounds and incorporate patient values and beliefs into care planning.
