Job Description Oversee the development of policies, procedures, and regulations related to the Consulting and Training Department in accordance with best practices and government legislation, to ensure the department's efficiency and effectiveness . Participate in the preparation and development of the Dubai Government's records management strategy; prepare operational plans related to the department; and ensure their alignment with the Public Library's guidelines . Oversee the preparation of an annual plan for providing specialized consulting and technical services to government agencies on a fee-for-service basis, including the identification of priority areas such as classification, preservation, cataloging, inventory, and disposal, as well as the determination of the services that can be provided. Oversee the delivery of the technical advisory services included in the approved plan, either through specialized teams within the library or in coordination with vendors and consulting firms contracted in accordance with approved regulations, thereby ensuring the provision of high-quality professional support in the areas of records management to government agencies. Oversee the preparation of periodic technical studies on archival practices, based on regional and international best standards and practices, and publish them with the aim of enriching knowledge and promoting continuous development in the field of records management. Oversee the preparation of a qualification and training plan for archivists working in the Dubai Government and the Library's archives sector, and monitor its implementation in coordination with the relevant authorities and in accordance with the approved schedule. Oversee the design of specialized training and professional development programs in the fields of records and archives management, and prepare academic and practical materials in accordance with training needs. Oversee the implementation of qualification and training programs for archivists in government agencies and employees in the archival sector. Oversee the delivery of awareness programs in the field of records and archives management, and supervise awareness programs offered by government agencies to raise awareness about archival work. Oversee coordination with universities, academic institutions, and specialized consulting firms to support the implementation of training and qualification programs related to records and archives management, and evaluate their outcomes.
