Requirements
The PMO Scheduler - Airports role requires strong hands-on experience building and maintaining large, complex integrated schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. Role PurposeThe PMO Scheduler - Airports owns the development and maintenance of the program schedule, building and maintaining the integrated master schedule that underpins delivery across all workstreams and vendors.The role provides the planning discipline and critical-path insight leadership needs to steer a complex, time-critical airport programme where milestones such as terminal openings and go-live are fixed and unforgiving.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule Development & MaintenanceBuild and maintain the integrated master schedule, consolidating workstream and vendor plans.Baseline the schedule and manage updates, progress capture and re-baselining under change control.Model critical path, float, dependencies and resource loading; run what-if and scenario analysis.Analysis & ReportingProduce schedule reports, milestone trackers, critical-path and slippage analysis for the PMO and leadership.Identify schedule risks and conflicts early and support mitigation planning.Assure schedule quality and adherence to planning standards across the program.CollaborationWork with workstream leads and vendors to gather reliable progress and forecast data.Support integration of schedule with cost and resource data for earned-value reporting.Skills & ExperienceEssentialScheduling expertise: Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining large, complex integrated schedules.Tooling: Advanced skills in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.Critical-path analysis: Proven ability in critical-path, float, dependency and scenario analysis.Data quality: Rigor in progress capture, baselining, re-baselining and schedule integrity.Reporting: Clear schedule reporting and the ability to explain plan status to non-planners.DesirableExperience on aviation, airport, construction or critical-infrastructure programmes.Familiarity with earned-value management and cost/schedule integration.Planning certifications (e.g. PMI-SP, APM PMQ, Primavera certification).Exposure to ORAT and go-live/cutover planning.QualificationsDegree or professional qualification in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).Planning/scheduling certification desirable (PMI-SP, Primavera, APM).Key CompetenciesPrecision and attention to detail - analytical thinking - structured working - proactive risk awareness - clear communication - collaboration - delivery focus.
