Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionThe Strategic Customer Supply Chain Partner is a client-facing role combining strategic supply chain consultancy with expert project management focused on improving the customer experience, driving profitability, and increasing efficiency through operational excellence, digital execution, and solid project management.Your ResponsibilitiesAct as a consultant to strategic healthcare customers, conducting structured, on-site diagnostics of their internal supply chain setups, material flows, and storage capacities using frameworks like the SCOR ModelCo-facilitate collaborative workshops with external hospital, laboratory and authority stakeholders to map current-state logistics workflows and design optimized future-state supply chain models using Value Stream Mapping (VSM)Develop customized supply chain strategies that solve customer pain points, delivering measurable value such as optimized inventory levels, reduced manual handling, and minimized operational wastePartner with commercial teams as the supply chain subject matter expert during high-level client discussions, transforming operational findings into compelling commercial service proposalsLead complex supply chain optimization and transformation projects from initial scoping and business-case design through to final execution and closureBuild and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring clear role definition, optimal resource allocation, and strict adherence to project milestonesEstablish robust project governance structures to proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to steering committees and leadershipDrive stakeholder alignment and change-management strategies to ensure smooth transition and long-term sustainability of newly implemented supply chain processesRollout of Roche's digital supply chain and inventory management solutions, leveraging CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) strategies to improve customer integration and delivery reliabilityMonitor and evaluate post-implementation adoption and tool performance to guarantee the customer achieves the intended efficiency gainsManage ongoing customer care by overseeing the resolution of operational incidents and system requests, ensuring long-term solution stability and high customer satisfaction. Post graduate degree is preferredYou built deep functional knowledge of core supply chain principles, advanced inventory management theories, demand forecasting, warehousing optimization, and distribution network designYou built a minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience within a management consulting firm or an internal corporate advisory/operational transformation team, steering high-impact initiatives with a specific focus on: logistics, cold chain management, storage topology optimization, deep familiarity with work streams such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C), and/or alignment of customer-facing fulfillment workflows with broader commercial business strategiesYou are experienced in utilizing structured supply chain and project management frameworks (e.g., SCOR, CPFR, Value Stream Mapping / Lean VSM, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or traditional PM principles)You built advanced consultative selling, workshop facilitation, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage complex external stakeholder dynamics, lead cross-functional squads, and drive changeYou have excellent interpersonal skills, advanced written and oral communication skillsAdvanced professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
