Candidates must have 2+ years of bakery or pastry production experience, ideally in a cafe, bakery or dessert concept. A strong understanding of food hygiene, allergen handling, and HACCP documentation is essential. Must be comfortable with early morning starts, weekends, public holidays, and physically able to handle a full shift on their feet with lifting and repetitive mixing work. A valid Dubai Municipality food handler certification is required.

Our flagship site is at The Grand, Dubai Creek Harbour, where everything we sell is made in house.We are looking for a Baker to work exclusively at Creek Harbour, producing our full cookie and dessert range to the standard the brand is known for.About the roleThis is a hands-on production role. You will be responsible for mixing, portioning, baking and finishing our products fresh every day, keeping the kitchen running cleanly and to schedule, and making sure the counter is never short of anything.ResponsibilitiesProduce the full cookie and dessert range daily to recipe, weight and finish specificationScale and mix doughs and batters accurately, with no shortcuts on measurements or methodPortion, bake and cool product to schedule so the counter is stocked ahead of openingMonitor bake times and oven performance, and adjust for consistency across batchesPrepare fillings, toppings and any component items in advance as requiredKeep accurate production records, batch labelling, date coding and stock rotationManage ingredient stock, check deliveries against orders and flag shortages earlyMaintain full compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety and HACCP requirements, including temperature logs, allergen controls and daily cleaning schedulesKeep the kitchen and all equipment spotless, and complete opening and closing routinesMinimise waste and report anything that is not up to standard rather than sending it outTrialling new products, seasonal specials and recipe tweaksKey requirementsCurrently based in the UAE[2+] years of bakery or pastry production experience, ideally in a cafe, bakery or dessert conceptConfident working from written recipes and specs, and consistent batch to batchComfortable with early morning starts, weekends and public holidaysStrong understanding of food hygiene, allergen handling and HACCP documentationAble to work independently and manage your own production schedule once trainedPhysically able to handle a full shift on your feet, with lifting and repetitive mixing workValid Dubai Municipality food handler certificationWhat we offerSalary, plus visa and medical insuranceA single site, so no split shifts running between locationsReal input into the product, not just executing someone else's sheetA small, hands-on team where the quality of your work is immediately visible
