JOB OBJECTIVES:The EFL Instructor is responsible for delivery of knowledge and skills training in English as a Foreign Language offered in accordance with the approved curriculum and the ARX policies and procedures.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan and deliver pedagogically sound lessons relevant to the Faculty's KPI.Participate in the preparation, correction and assessment of examination papers and assignments, and invigilation of examination.Monitor and enforce student attendance.Participate in the counselling, remediation, and administration of student.Participate in the ongoing review and development of curriculum content, teaching methods and methods of student assessment.Maintain and develop professional competence through active engagement in professional development activities provided by the College.Undertake other duties as required by Management.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in any academic field from an accredited university.EFL/ESL Teaching Certification (TESOL / CELTA / DELTA / TEFL.Candidates with a PGCE or equivalent professional teaching qualification will also be consider.Demonstrated experience developing innovative teaching and learning materials and resources.SKILLS & ABILITIES:Well-developed skills in teaching technology such as Blackboard, and Brightspace.Advanced problem-solving skill.Advanced level in communication and Interpersonal Skill.Proficiency in Microsoft office.Knowledge in completing administrative tasks to a high standard.
