This role ensures alignment between business goals and technology solutions by establishing architecture standards, evaluating emerging technologies, and collaborating with key stakeholders. The enterprise architecture lead guides the architecture team, oversees complex cross-functional initiatives, and represents ENIC in external engagements to support the organization’s overall success and growth. Key activities, responsibility & accountability Enterprise architecture program leadership Develop, maintain, and continuously improve ENEC's enterprise architecture framework, operating model, standards, and governance practices. Lead the EA maturity assessment process and implement improvement roadmaps aligned with organizational needs and industry best practices. Establish and oversee enterprise-wide architecture principles, policies, standards, and reference architectures. Develop annual EA plans, strategic priorities, performance metrics, and capability roadmaps. Ensure architecture practices support business resilience, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation objectives. Lead the creation of enterprise, business, solution, and technology architectures supporting current and future business needs. Establish and maintain enterprise capability maps, value streams, business processes, and organizational operating models. Define target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps that guide business and technology modernization initiatives. Ensure architecture deliverables support strategic decision-making, business growth, innovation, and operational sustainability. Provide architecture leadership for major programs, projects, and digital transformation initiatives. Technology strategy & business planning Lead the development and execution of technology and digital strategies aligned with ENEC's corporate objectives and business priorities. Drive strategic business planning processes across the technology portfolio utilizing the OKR framework and benefit realization principles. Translate strategic goals into actionable architecture initiatives, roadmaps, and investment priorities. Define and maintain future-state business, information, application, and technology architectures. Ensure technology investments support measurable business value, operational efficiency, and long-term organizational goals. Facilitate the lifecycle from strategy formulation through planning, execution, measurement, and continuous optimization. Lead enterprise business capability assessments and maturity evaluations. Develop capability-based planning frameworks to support strategic investment decisions. Identify capability gaps, optimization opportunities, and transformation priorities. Establish value realization frameworks linking technology investments to business outcomes and measurable benefits. Develop executive-level business cases and articulate the strategic and operational value of architecture initiatives. Track realization of expected business benefits and support continuous performance improvement. Enterprise architecture repository & tool management Own and manage enterprise architecture tools, repositories, models, and architecture knowledge assets. Ensure architecture data integrity, governance, lifecycle management, and reporting capabilities. Maintain business capability models, application portfolios, technology standards, architecture catalogs, and strategic roadmaps. Drive continuous enhancement of EA tooling to improve visibility, planning effectiveness, and executive decision support. Architecture governance & review board management Lead the enterprise architecture review board (ARB) and associated governance processes. Define architecture review procedures, decision frameworks, exception management, and compliance assessments. Ensure all technology initiatives align with approved architecture standards and target architectures. Facilitate architecture reviews, technical assessments, and strategic design evaluations. Monitor architecture compliance and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and optimization. Drive transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making across the technology portfolio. Strategic advisory & business partnership Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership on strategic transformation initiatives. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges, and emerging opportunities. Translate complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations and value propositions. Support investment planning, portfolio prioritization, and enterprise decision-making through architecture insights. Promote architecture thinking as a key enabler of business performance and organizational agility. AI advocacy & innovation leadership Champion the adoption of artificial intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies across ENEC. Identify opportunities to leverage AI and digital technologies to improve efficiency, safety, decision quality, and business outcomes. Promote responsible AI governance, architecture standards, and business integration practices. Foster an innovation culture by enabling experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. Collaborate with business and technology teams to embed AI-enabled capabilities within operational and corporate processes. Professional certifications TOGAF certification (mandatory) ArchiMate certification IT4IT, COBIT, SAFe, PMP, or equivalent certifications are advantageous. AI, data, cloud, or digital transformation certifications are desirable. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, digital transformation, or related disciplines. Minimum 5 years in enterprise-wide architecture role. Proven experience in developing technology strategies, operating models, capability maps, target-state architectures, and transformation roadmaps. Demonstrated experience managing architecture review boards and architecture governance functions. Experience with enterprise architecture tools such as Orbus Infinity, ARIS, LeanIX, or equivalent. Strong understanding of business planning, OKR frameworks, value realization, and strategic portfolio management.
