Description

To perform the following in a timely, effective and safe manner

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

  1. Ensure that NSICT/NSIGT health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are observed, as well as all relevant safety legislation and provisions of the relevant Government health, safety and environment Acts.

  2. Ensure the NSICT/NSIGT Security policy and procedures are observed.

  3. Contribute to the continuous improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives. To undertake all duties and responsibilities in accordance with NSICT policies and procedures.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

  1. To follow the instruction given by Executive/ Sr. Executive /Supervisor/Manager.

  2. To fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools

  3. To set up, operate and maintain welding equipment 

  4. To carried out Maintenance Activity.

  5. To Follow the SOP and Safety rules.

  6. Undertake all given tasks and responsibilities as per the scope of the contract and as instructed by UDR. 

  7. To ensure he possess valid safety training card and port entry pass

  8. To implements the practices to maintain workshop in a manner that beneficially reduces water use and waste.

  9. To improve energy efficiency of workshop equipment by effective using.

  10.  To collect welding /cutting metal waste in dedicated assign bin for further disposal.

  11.  Increase awareness of environmental protection practices and pollution prevention/waste minimization opportunities.
