Description

ROLE SCOPE 

Areas of Responsibilities 

Technnical Support

  • Take an active role in setting up, operating, and maintaining audio, video, lighting equipment, and technical operations.
  • Conduct daily checks, startup, closing procedures, preventive and corrective maintenance of AVL and Network systems around the park.
  • Minimize downtime by performing preventive maintenance activities in accordance with manufacturer's requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time, ensuring minimal disruption to live show & events and the daily operation
  • Alone or a part of a team you will support production teams, event sales teams to meet technical requirements and ensure smooth operations of shows and events and smooth running of the parks on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that all corrective maintenance is performed effectively to prevent recurring issues.
  • Attend briefings, training sessions, and development programs to promote personal growth.
     

Quality Assurance 

  • Follow best practices for equipment setup, operation, and safety whilst following the business's safety requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks as required by the Maintenance Management System to maintain high standards of maintenance and operation and report any issues in a timely fashion.
  • Complete and submit all preventive and corrective maintenance checklists to Team Leaders by the designated deadline.


Reporting

  • Report any issues that occur in a time fashion to the shift supervisor.
  • Report equipment faults, troubleshoot equipment and system faults.
     

Collaboration

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the Entertainment technical team, supporting and guiding each other along with new team members.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with audio, video, lighting, and special effects equipment in a live entertainment or event production environment.
  • Electrical, Electronics, IT and IT Network experience
  • The knowledge of operating of Entertainment shows systems and show control systems are a must.
  • Keen interest in technology. Familiar with latest technologies and implementation. · 
  • Proven ability in troubleshooting.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Able to adhere to strict timelines. 
  • Clear understanding of both written and spoken English.
  • Computer skills. 
  • Ability to understand one line drawings and schematics.
  • Able to spend long hours standing if required.
  • Possess a firm knowledge of installation tools and have the ability to use them.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 kg. 
     

Desirable

  • Technical training or certification in Audiovisual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related field Highly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.
  • Theater background
  • Previously worked at theme park.
  • Operated audio and lighting systems for live entertainment.
  • Component repairs of audio, lighting, and video equipment.
  • People person who works well alone and as part of a larger team.
  • Self-motivated and wants to get the job done. 
  • Knowledge of show, automation, and digital signal processing is an advantage.
  • Has system integration and design knowledge.
