Qualifications & Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical degree. MD / MS / DNB / MRCP or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology or a recognized equivalent specialty qualification. Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred. Strong experience in diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology. Endoscopy and colonoscopy experience is highly desirable. Excellent diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for a Specialist Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical and endoscopic expertise with a patient-centered approach.Key Responsibilities Conduct consultations, comprehensive history-taking, and gastrointestinal examinations. Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic disorders. Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy. Manage conditions such as GERD, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and GI bleeding. Evaluate and manage patients with complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions. Perform appropriate endoscopic interventions within the scope of expertise. Review laboratory, imaging, endoscopy, and pathology results and formulate treatment plans. Provide preventive and follow-up care for chronic gastrointestinal conditions. Refer patients for surgical or multidisciplinary management when required. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuing medical education.
