Role overviewThe IT Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, applications, and end-user technology needs. The role ensures the availability, security, and reliability of IT services while providing technical support to employees. The IT Administrator also oversees IT assets, system access management, cybersecurity practices, and vendor coordination to support smooth business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure & Systems ManagementManage and maintain company hardware, software, networks, and IT systems.Monitor the performance, availability, and security of IT infrastructure.Configure, install, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.Support Microsoft 365, email systems, collaboration tools, and business applications.Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.User Support & Service DeliveryProvide first-level and second-level technical support to employees.Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.Manage IT service requests and ensure timely resolution of support tickets.Conduct user onboarding and offboarding, including system access provisioning and revocation.Provide guidance and training to users on IT systems and best practices.Information Security & ComplianceImplement and maintain cybersecurity controls and security policies.Monitor system access and ensure compliance with information security standards.Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and data backup solutions.Support periodic security assessments and vulnerability management activities.Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and protection of company data.IT Asset & Vendor ManagementMaintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, warranties, and inventory.Manage IT asset allocation, recovery, and lifecycle management.Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for support and maintenance.Monitor software license compliance and renewal requirements.Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and security.Business Continuity & DocumentationMaintain backup and disaster recovery processes.Ensure critical business systems are adequately protected and recoverable.Prepare and maintain IT policies, procedures, and technical documentation.Support technology-related projects and business initiatives as assigned.Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT Administration, Technical Support, or Systems Administration.Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, networking, and cloud-based platforms.Experience managing hardware, software, user accounts, and IT assets.Understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT best practices.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and documentation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong communication and customer service skills.Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
