Requires 4-6 years of experience in client-facing customer support or data center operations, with at least 4 years in IT infrastructure or server administration. An Associate Degree in a related field is preferred. Experience in hyperscale cloud environments is a plus. Must be an Australian citizen and hold or be eligible for an NV1 Security Clearance. A valid driver's license is also required.

As an Oracle Data Centre Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and continuously improving our world-class data centre infrastructure. Acting as a technical liaison between engineering teams, vendors, stakeholders, and the data centre environment, you'll help ensure the reliability, availability, safety, and performance of critical infrastructure and cloud services.
 

You'll be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading, and decommissioning data centre hardware and supporting infrastructure. You'll respond to incidents, perform preventative maintenance, maintain accurate asset and spare-parts inventory, and follow established operational procedures and safety standards.


Success in this role requires strong hands-on technical capability combined with communication, stakeholder management, planning, accountability, resilience, adaptability, customer focus, and collaboration. You'll be expected to take initiative, manage competing priorities, communicate risks early, and contribute positively to a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
