Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
Typically 7–10 years of relevant MEP engineering and construction experience, preferably within power, EPC, infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
Strong experience in multidisciplinary MEP engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, and site execution.
Good knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, fire alarm, and associated building services.
Experience with MEP systems for substations, control buildings, utility buildings, industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, schematics, layouts, specifications, equipment schedules, and technical documentation.
Strong experience coordinating MEP interfaces with civil, structural, electrical, and architectural disciplines.
Knowledge of relevant international standards, UAE regulations, authority requirements, and applicable MEP codes.
Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and multidisciplinary site teams.
Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, inspection requirements, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, resource management, material control, and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering/design software.
Strong analytical, technical, communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver MEP works within project timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements.
UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in power infrastructure, substations, transmission/distribution projects, or major EPC projects.
Experience with MEP works associated with HV/EHV substations and control buildings.
Exposure to HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, drainage, ventilation, BMS, and building services integration.
Experience with UAE utility/client requirements such as DEWA, TAQA/TRANSCO, or equivalent authorities will be an advantage.
Experience working with major EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and utility clients.
Professional engineering certification or relevant MEP qualification will be an advantage.
