Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing, coupled with 6-8+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or external communications. Experience managing communications for multiple brands, especially within financial services, fintech, technology, insurtech, proptech, or government sectors, is highly desirable. Strong media relations, crisis communications, reputation management, stakeholder management, and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to develop and execute strategic PR campaigns and executive messaging.

The role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with media, industry stakeholders, and key external partners while delivering impactful communications that enhance brand visibility, support business objectives, and position the group and its leadership as thought leaders across the region.What You'll DoDevelop and implement integrated public relations and communications strategies aligned with the group's business objectives and brand positioning.Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media, journalists, editors, and industry influencers.Identify and secure high-value media opportunities, interviews, speaking engagements, and thought leadership placements for executives.Draft and manage press releases, media statements, speeches, opinion pieces, executive messaging, Q&A documents, and other corporate communications materials.Lead media outreach for company announcements, product launches, partnerships, funding milestones, events, and strategic initiatives.Monitor media coverage, industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging issues, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.Manage corporate reputation and support crisis communications planning and execution when required.Collaborate closely with Marketing, Brand, Product, People, and executive leadership to ensure consistent messaging across all external communications.Support executive profiling by developing thought leadership content and identifying opportunities to increase leadership visibility.Coordinate agency relationships where applicable, ensuring high-quality execution and measurable outcomes.Plan and manage PR campaigns, media events, press briefings, and corporate announcements.Track and report on PR performance using media coverage, sentiment analysis, share of voice, and other relevant KPIs.Ensure all communications align with the group's brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and corporate messaging.Support communications initiatives across multiple businesses within the First.tech group as required.Undertake any other duties as reasonably required to support business objectives.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.6–8+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or external communications.Experience managing communications for multiple brands, business units, or entities within a group structure.Strong experience working within financial services, fintech, technology, insurtech, proptech, government, or other highly regulated industries is highly desirable.Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic PR campaigns that deliver measurable business impact.Established network of media contacts across the UAE and wider GCC.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content for a variety of audiences.Experience managing executive communications and building thought leadership platforms.Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across senior leadership teams.Experience handling media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management.Highly organised with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Analytical mindset with experience measuring PR effectiveness and campaign performance.Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Arabic language skills are advantageous but not essential.BenefitsCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesHealth and wellness supportCareer development and learning opportunitiesExposure to high-impact projects and cross-functional teamsA collaborative culture that encourages innovation and ownershipSo, what does it really mean to work at First.TechWe are building a company where people are empowered to do their best work and grow.
