Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers to provide effective technical support to Operations and drive manufacturing excellence.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Machining, Welding, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical and production challenges.
  • Drive product localization initiatives, ensuring successful technology transfer, process capability enhancement, and operational readiness.
  • Lead continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction projects to improve manufacturing performance.
  • Monitor and analyze key manufacturing metrics such as yield, cycle time, downtime, and quality performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfer activities by collaborating with regional Manufacturing Engineering teams.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Develop manufacturing processes, procedures, fixtures, and tooling solutions that support safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
  • Provide technical coaching, training, and development opportunities to strengthen engineering and operations capabilities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and support site Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) initiatives.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment, preferably within control valve, industrial equipment, or precision manufacturing industries.
  • Minimum 2 years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly operations, engineering documentation, and process development.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management capabilities.

 
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience in control valve manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and measurement system analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with valve assembly, calibration, fixture design, and tooling development.
  • Experience supporting NPI, product transfers, and localization projects.
  • Demonstrated success in driving productivity, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
