Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Provide engineering support and technical guidance for manufacturing and assembly operations in accordance with established policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support daily production activities by resolving manufacturing, assembly, machining, welding, and calibration issues.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and corporate documentation to determine manufacturing requirements and processing procedures.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities to minimize downtime, defects, and scrap.
  • Review MRB (Material Review Board) parts and implement corrective actions to reduce quality issues and waste.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing methods, work instructions, tooling, fixtures, and assembly procedures.
  • Support operator and supervisor training related to manufacturing processes, assembly, calibration, testing, and certification requirements.
  • Drive product localization and process capability improvements through technical expertise transfer and manufacturing optimization.
  • Partner with AP Manufacturing Engineering teams on new product transfer, development, and NPI execution.
  • Support fixture selection, process validation, and automation initiatives for production readiness.
  • Collaborate with Quality teams to investigate issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead and support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives to achieve operational targets.
  • Support department and plant-level safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to achieve production goals, project milestones, and business objectives.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a control valve manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing documentation, process development, and assembly operations.
  • At least 2 years of working knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrohydraulic systems.
  • Experience in mechanical assembly manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and measurement system analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of material characteristics and manufacturing source documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
